Clipboard Buddy

One of Windows' well known flaws is the fact that you may copy a single item to the clipboard. You can waste valuable time if you have to copy the same file or text fragment multiple times. Clipboard Buddy can enhance the clipboard's functionality in the Windows operating system. Any item you copy will be saved on a user friendly interface and you can paste it once or repeatedly, at any time, even after you copy other items.

Clipboard Buddy is not free, but you can try a fully functional trial version, which does not hinder you with any nag screens or watermarks. The application is available for Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 and it can be installed in a matter of seconds.

You can store and manage any kind of clips, including files, text, web links, screenshots and more. When you copy something in Windows Explorer, the item will appear in a list, with a corresponding icon, name and path, depending on what you copy. The user interface will stay on top of any other window on your screen, but it can be minimized to the system tray. If you need to paste a copied item, on an active window, you just need to select the clip and hit the Paste option, located on a toolbar.

A selected clip's contents can be viewed in the lower region of the interface. Furthermore, you can organize your clips in separate folders. Clipboard Buddy allows you to create and name your own folders, making it easy to categorize your clips. In addition, the application provides you with a screenshot tool, as well as a color picker. The screenshot tool can be used to capture a specific region of the screen, by drawing a rectangle. Alternatively, you can hit the PrintScreen key and a snapshot of the entire screen will appear on the user interface.

To make your work easier, Clipboard Buddy allows you to dock its interface with one of the screen's edges. Once you dock the interface, you can bring it up by touching the screen's edge with the mouse cursor.
